Rory McIlroy has changed equipment sponsors over the years, but one part of his bag that has remained constant is his beloved St. Bernard driver headcover.

“I’ve had this dog on my headcover since I was 14 years old,” McIlroy told TaylorMade in a 2018 YouTube video. “I’ve always loved dogs. I had a couple of dogs growing up. I’m a big dog person, and this guy has done a lot of air miles. We’ve probably been around the world together 100 times and back. He’s seen a lot of cool things.”

While the newly-minted Grand Slam champion’s signature St. Bernard is currently unavailable to purchase, dog-lovers can find a number of other similar headcover styles at PGA Tour Superstore, which stocks a large collection from Daphne’s.
