Zurich Classic betting favorites
Fresh off his Masters victory, Rory McIlroy is back in action this week to try and defend the Zurich Classic team title he won with friend Shane Lowry last year.
As the reigning champs with the best player in the field on their team, McIlroy and Lowry are the betting favorites at +350 odds-to-win.
The next team on the odds list features two other star PGA Tour players, one of them a two-time major winner, in the team of Collin Morikawa and Kurt Kitayama. But they are way behind McIlroy/Lowry in oddsmakers eyes, to the tune of +1200.
Tied for third in the pre-tournament betting odds for the Zurich Classic are the teams of Keith Mitchell/J.T. Poston and Thomas Detry /Robert MacIntye, with both teams knotted at +1800.
