Irons

I was a skeptic until I tried these game-changing irons

Maddi's Callaway Apex Ti Fusion iron

the Callaway Apex Ti Fusion irons and they completely changed my mindset about golf equipment.

GOLF

Let me start off by saying that I am not a gear head. In fact, up until two weeks ago, I was probably the exact opposite.

When it came to golf equipment, I lived by the old adage, “a poor craftsman blames his tools.” Always believing that if I wasn’t hitting it well, it was on me and not the clubs.

Turns out, I was wrong.

For the last decade I used the same set of irons that I was fit for back in college. And for a long time, they did the job — or so I thought. That is until I got my hands on a brand-new set of Callaway Apex Ti Fusion irons.

The moment I opened the box and excitedly peeled off the plastic, I was giddy about these clubs. It was that Christmas-morning kind of excitement that you just can’t fake.

At first glance, I loved the sleek black design. It made me feel like I was holding a weapon. I couldn’t get to a simulator fast enough.

And with one swing, they had completely shattered my very stubborn, long-standing mindset about golf equipment.

The titanium face and forged hollow-body construction gave me effortless power on every shot. It felt like the ball was exploding off the face. Within a few minutes of hitting these irons, I was carrying the ball 10 to 15 yards longer and creating more ball speed than I ever had with my old set.

I also noticed that my shot dispersion was tighter. If the occasional off-center strike snuck in, it still looked and felt good. While these clubs are forgiving, I love that they’re still pretty workable. I’m able to shape shots with ease, controlling both the trajectory and direction of my ball flight.

Although, an iron isn’t truly tested until you’ve hit it from a few tough lies. So, after hitting these from some sketchy spots, I can officially say I am impressed.

They cut through thick, juicy rough like a hot knife through butter. Fairway bunkers were a breeze, and I was even able to hit my ball out of a divot with no problem while wielding these on the course.

With these irons in the bag, I have more confidence in my game than before—and for the first time in a long time, I’m actually excited to practice.

Callaway Apex Ti Fusion Custom Irons

Apex Ti Fusion Irons are expertly crafted like no other iron in golf. This player performance iron is precisely engineered with a titanium face and a forged hollow- body construction. We’ve leveraged our most advanced materials to provide performance enthusiasts with exceptional power, feel, and consistency. Superior Materials, Unmatched Performance Titanium is an advanced material that provides unmatched iron performance. Our industry-leading brazed titanium construction capitalizes on the power of a titanium face combined with the exceptional forged feel of steel. No other iron combines these performance materials into one iron like we have in Apex Ti Fusion. Revolutionary Speed Leveraging the superiority of titanium, we’ve provided a face with unbelievable ball speed characteristics. Titanium, the same material used in driver faces, is incredibly efficient and produces a larger sweet spot in an iron than steel. Unimaginable Feel Apex Ti Fusion utilizes a combination of advanced materials to achieve an unimaginable feel. The titanium face allows for more deflection and interaction with our patented urethane microspheres. This interaction coupled with a forged, steel body provides a unique feel that is typically only found in single-piece forged irons. Incredibly Consistent Ball Speed, Spin, and Dispersion The titanium Ai Smart Face yields incredibly consistent ball speed, spin, and dispersion. The result is the performance of a 2-piece iron with consistency like a muscleback. Premium DLC Finish Ti Fusion boasts a new, ultra-premium Diamond-Like Coating (DLC) finish. DLC is more durable than PVD and produces a unique and striking aesthetic.
